After months of continuing Ed2k-it.com where it left off, while there are many new users who have come, Ed2k-it isn't receiving the attention it deserves, and I feel it's time it receives some new life.

So I'm announcing that in 2 weeks time (Oct. 13, 2007), Ed2k-it.com will be redirected to isoHunt.com. It has a releases system where you can post links as you do here, with thumbnailed listings and far more robust search. As these are different systems, posts currently here at Ed2k-it will not be automatically "moved" to isoHunt. I encourage you to come check out the isoHunt Releases and post your stuff there, before Ed2k-it.com redirects there in 2 weeks.

It is my hope that under isoHunt, posts can receive better presentation and attention, and that you will come to enjoy the company of isoHunt's community. Sorry for the inconvenience, and see you at isoHunt!

This site was started in May 2003. We are now proud to have over 60200 members on board, with an average of 35 new members per day.

An eternity ago, the official policy of eD2K-it was

"Also, be aware that we are a community site / forum. This means there has to be interaction between the members. If you just want to use our site, without ever posting yourself, you are not welcome."

The "interaction between members> and "community site/forum" were certainly good ideas and we should do our best to follow in that direction.

In 2004 , this site was buzzing, then it died a slow death , most active members, mods and admins started work/ mod work elsewhere. It is great to be here today to see the resurrection and interaction again. Thanks to the hard work of the new admins, ancient and new moderators and many persistent members, sections are coming back to life one after the other and this place will continue to grow again.
Well done to us all here at ed2k-it for making this happen.We are a community and we only survive with everyone taking part.
This is a sharing site anew. Feel free to post any edk2 files you like (music, applications, tv shows, etc). And, most of all, don't be shy, press the Reply-button and say THANKS - a small thing that goes a long way to encourage our releasers and
posters.
